Overview
Grain: One row per assignment event per application | Primary key: id | Foreign key: application_id → loan_applications.id
Tracks which staff members and branches are assigned to each application at each stage. Multiple rows per application are expected as the application progresses: this is a history table, not a current-state table.

Things to Know About This Table
- Use
is_active(equivalent todeleted_on IS NULL) to identify the current assignments. - Interpret
assignee_idusingentity_type: if PERSON it is a staff user ID, if BRANCH it is a branch ID.
